Happily Bitter

This is just a place with some stuff to read, and a couple videos thrown in here and there.  It’s a lot of different subjects,  not for the weak-willed or intolerant, and if you’ve come here through my profile on some other site or forum, you might be surprised at a lot of what is written here. Sorry if your elusions have been shattered.  

Reflection:Self: 

• Cursey – especially when I’m all riled up
• Occasional hypocrite – I feel real bad about it when I realize it
• A stickler for understanding the argument – if you’re going to discuss something, it’s important to define the terms.
• I like to check my facts because I don’t like to be embarrassed
• Progressively resistant to change – I’ve no patience for new fangled technology, other than my kick-ass computer.
• Cable-Free, Hulu-Dependent, out of the Mad Men loop
• Advice column junkie – Online advice column comment sections soothe the souls of web-weary political pundit perusers.
• Alliterative (see prior point)
• Conspiracy Theory Consider-er – hey, anything’s possible
• Conspiracy Theory Proposer – (see my crackpot theories and stuff I made up) – because if I’m right I can say “called it”, and everyone’ll say, “yup”
• Massively talented at finding uses for stuff that wasn’t intended for said uses.
• Fond of blaming the “Goddamned Republicans”, especially for things like stubbing my toe or forgetting to buy bread. They are somehow to blame, I’m sure of it.
• Frequently hyperbolic
• Likely to accuse others of trickery and deceit because people shouldn’t act so suspicious alla time and stuff.
• Trying to effect social change by waiting for someone else to implement my ideas and then being indignant if they don’t. They oughtta…they should’ve…
• Pretty sure we’re in the middle of some sort of vast triple-double-cross-and-cross-back-again-for-good- measure, bizarro-world, opposite-day, mind-fuck shitstorm of epic proportions, and I’m startin’ to suspect that most of ya’ll are in on it.
